## What CrossBeam Permits does

CrossBeam reads construction-document plan sets against governing building codes and a jurisdiction's adopted local amendments. It drafts evidence-cited findings and corrections for a human to review.

The platform has four product surfaces:

1. Plan review: city staff review incoming plans, and builders can run a pre-submittal Pre-Check.
2. Planning and intake: planning review and Screener help staff evaluate zoning questions and submittal completeness.
3. Corrections: Corrections Analysis maps a city's letter to the plan set; Corrections Response checks a resubmittal item by item.
4. Permit intelligence: the Permit Assistant answers grounded permit questions, and Scout helps evaluate a parcel before design begins.

Every CrossBeam output is advisory. AI drafts; humans approve.

CrossBeam's internal coverage registry contains 546 jurisdiction entries across California and Washington as of July 25, 2026. Coverage and product availability vary by jurisdiction and permit type, and a jurisdiction appearing in the registry does not mean that jurisdiction is a CrossBeam client.

## Pricing model

Builder reviews are usage-based and purchased per review. An account's first review may be free for eligible permit types. Municipal deployments are contracted with the agency. Current terms and eligibility are confirmed in the product checkout or agency agreement.
