How do I accept a team invitation?
Quick answer: Open the invitation email ("You've been invited to {team} on CrossBeam") and click its link. On the invitation page, click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to. You land on Projects as part of the team.
Steps
- Open the invitation email and click the link. It opens a page that says "You've been invited to join {team}."
- Check the Invitation for box. It shows the invited email and your role (Member or Admin).
- Click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.
- Sign in with the account for the invited email. If you don't have a CrossBeam account yet, this creates one.
- You land on Projects and can see your team's work under Team.
Good to know
- Invitations expire after 7 days. Ask your admin to send a new one if yours expired.
- You must sign in with the invited email. A different Google or Microsoft account won't work.
- Invitations can only be accepted with Google or Microsoft, not with email and password.
