How do I accept the city's Terms of Service?
Quick answer: You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the TOS before the checkbox enables. Check the box, then click I Agree & Create Account.
Steps
- After you sign in through the city portal, you'll see the city's TOS (full text, scrollable).
- Scroll to the bottom. The checkbox stays disabled until you do. This is required, not a bug.
- Check the box: "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service."
- Click I Agree & Create Account. You're in — takes you to your dashboard with the city pre-filled.
Why you may see this again
Each city has a TOS version. If the city amends its agreement, the version number bumps and you'll be prompted to re-accept on your next visit. This applies to every user of that city's portal.
Your acceptance is recorded per-city. If you sign up for a second partner city later, you'll get a fresh TOS for that city.
Troubleshooting
- Checkbox won't enable. Make sure you scrolled the TOS panel itself, not the outer page. Scroll inside the gray box until you see the bottom.
- "I already agreed." Acceptances are tracked by city + TOS version. If the version changed, you have to accept again. If you think this is wrong, email the team.
