How do I control email notifications?
Quick answer: Go to Settings, scroll to Email Notifications, toggle the master switch or individual categories, then click Save Changes.
The toggles
- Email notifications (master) — turn all CrossBeam emails on or off.
- Pre-Check Receipts — email when your permit pre-check results are ready.
- Review Complete — email when a full plan review finishes.
- Corrections Ready — email when your corrections response package is generated.
Turning a category off silences that specific email type while keeping the others on. Turning the master off silences everything.
Steps
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Email Notifications.
- Toggle the switches you want.
- Click Save Changes.
What this doesn't control
- Team invites. If someone invites you to their org, you'll always get that email. It's transactional, not a notification.
- Billing receipts. Stripe sends its own email for every successful charge. Manage those in your Stripe email preferences.
- Security emails (password changes, new device sign-in) — always sent.
