How do I opt out of ad data sharing?

Quick answer: Go to Settings, scroll to Privacy, and toggle off Advertising data sharing. Your Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is also honored automatically.

What the toggle controls

With the toggle on, CrossBeam shares browsing activity on its marketing pages (not your plans or project data) with Google and Meta to measure which ad campaigns drive signups. With it off, that sharing stops.

Your project data is never shared with ad networks, regardless of this setting. This toggle is about marketing measurement only.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the GPC signal (Firefox, DuckDuckGo, or a privacy extension), CrossBeam treats that as an opt-out automatically. The in-app toggle reflects the effective state.
