How do I use the help center?
Quick answer: Click your email address in the top-right, then Help. On Help, use Browse to read guides by topic, or Chat to ask the help assistant a "how do I" question in your own words.
Steps

Click your email address in the top-right of any page and click Help, or go to Help.

Pick a mode:
- Browse — guides grouped by topic. Type in Filter topics... to narrow the list, then click a guide.
- Chat — type your question. The assistant answers from these guides and links to the right page in the app.

Each guide shows a Where: line with the exact place in the app, and Related guides at the bottom.
Good to know
- The help center shows guides for your kind of account. Builders see builder guides. City staff see city guides.
- You can open Help without signing in. Click Sign in to see the guides for your account.
- The help assistant explains how to use CrossBeam. For permit or code questions, use Ask AI.
