How do I opt out of ad data sharing as a reviewer?

Quick answer: Go to Settings, scroll to Privacy, and toggle off Advertising data sharing. Your Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal is honored automatically.

What the toggle controls

With the toggle on, CrossBeam shares activity from its marketing pages (not submittals, not findings, not any project data) with Google and Meta to measure ad performance. With it off, that sharing stops.

Submittal data, findings, and corrections letters are never shared with ad networks, regardless of this setting. The toggle is about marketing measurement on public pages only.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the GPC signal (Firefox, DuckDuckGo, or a privacy extension), CrossBeam treats that as an opt-out automatically. The in-app toggle reflects the effective state.

If your city has a stricter standard

Some cities require an institutional opt-out across all accounts. If your department admin set that centrally, the toggle may be locked off. Check with your admin.
