How do I connect CrossBeam to Claude as a reviewer?
Quick answer: Go to Settings, find Claude Integration, copy the MCP server URL, and add it as a Connector in Claude. Once connected, Claude can read your queue, individual submittals, findings, and issued corrections letters — useful for building reports, cross-referencing, or drafting memos.
The MCP URL
https://crossbeam-mcp.old-cherry-b095.workers.dev/mcp
(The same URL is shown on the Settings page — copy from there to avoid typos.)
Setup in Claude
- Open Claude's Customize → Connectors.
- Add a new connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL.
- Authenticate when prompted — CrossBeam uses OAuth, so you sign in with the same city email you use on CrossBeam.
- Ask Claude "what's in my Team queue?" to verify.
What reviewers can do with it
- Pull a submittal's findings into a conversation for deeper analysis.
- Generate a weekly throughput report from your queue.
- Draft a memo to a supervisor that cross-references multiple issued letters.
- Ask "which submittals in my queue cite CBC Section 705.8?" and let Claude search across your corpus.
Limits
- Read-only today. Claude can read your CrossBeam data; it can't Accept, Reject, Modify findings, or Finalize letters via MCP yet.
- Department-scoped. You only see submittals your account can see in the UI.
- One account per connector. If you have two orgs, add the connector twice in different Claude profiles.
