What does Reset & Run Again do?
Quick answer: Reset & Run Again (at the very bottom of the project page) throws away the current AI output — findings, draft letter, and your triage state — and kicks the AI off from scratch on the submitted plans. Use it when the AI made a structural error early and more triage won't save the output. Use it carefully — you lose your triage edits.
Steps
- Scroll to the bottom of the project detail page, past the findings list.
- Click Reset & Run Again.
- The project status flips to Processing. The AI re-runs end-to-end.
- When it lands, you have a fresh findings list and a fresh draft letter.
What you lose
- All Accept / Reject / Modify / Skip decisions on the previous run.
- Any finding text you modified inline.
- Rejection reasons and other review notes.
- The draft corrections letter (a new one is generated).
What you keep
- The original submittal (plans, form data).
- The project shell — same address, same permit type, same URL.
- Any prior Bluebeam exports that were downloaded.
When to Reset vs. Finalize with edits
- Reset & Run Again — the AI's overall read of the project is wrong (e.g., classified it as an addition when it's an ADU), or you want to re-run after a code cycle update.
- Modify / Reject inline — the AI got individual items wrong but the overall scope is right. Cheaper and preserves your work.
