My draft letter regenerated and I lost my edits
Quick answer: The two things that regenerate the draft are Reset & Run Again (at the bottom of the project page) and re-importing from Bluebeam. Reset wipes your triage state and edits — so they're not in the current draft. Each Finalize & Issue click, however, saves a permanent version (v1, v2, …) that doesn't get cleared by a Reset; you can recover your issued language from there.
What regenerates the draft

If you hit Reset by accident
There's no "undo" for Reset. What you can do:
- Pull an earlier Finalized version if you'd already issued one — the downloaded HTML / DOCX is your copy of the prior letter.
- Re-triage. Most of your work (the critical judgment calls) lives in your head; the AI's draft is usually fast to re-triage now that you know the submittal.
Preventing it
- Treat Reset & Run Again as a nuclear option. Use Modify or Reject for individual items; Reset only when the AI's scope call is wrong.
- Finalize & Issue early — even a v1 gives you a persistent download of your current state. You can Finalize again (v2, v3) as you iterate.
