How do I download my corrections response package?

Quick answer: On the project page, click the Download / Export button. You get a response letter (PDF or Word) and, if relevant, a Bluebeam markup file to pull into Revu.

What's in the package

  • Response letter — one entry per city correction item with:
    • The original correction text.
    • Your response (AI-drafted, editable).
    • The code citation and any referenced sheets.
  • Sheet annotations — if the city marked up specific sheets, the response package references them so the reviewer can jump straight to the fix.
  • Bluebeam XFDF (optional) — for round-tripping edits into Bluebeam. See Export to Bluebeam.

Steps

  1. Open the project from Projects.
  2. Make sure you've answered any clarifying questions — the package is more specific when you have.
  3. Review each finding. You can edit the draft response inline before downloading.
  4. Click Download or Export. Pick the format you want.
  5. Attach the response letter to your resubmission in the city's portal (or through the CrossBeam partner-city flow if that's how you submitted originally).

Before you send it

  • Read every response. The AI drafts are sharp, but your design professional of record should sign off on anything that touches structural / MEP / life-safety items.
  • Don't skip unanswered questions — if the AI flagged "needs info" and you left it blank, the response letter will have a gap.
