How do I download my corrections response package?
Quick answer: On the project page, click the Download / Export button. You get a response letter (PDF or Word) and, if relevant, a Bluebeam markup file to pull into Revu.
What's in the package
- Response letter — one entry per city correction item with:
- The original correction text.
- Your response (AI-drafted, editable).
- The code citation and any referenced sheets.
- Sheet annotations — if the city marked up specific sheets, the response package references them so the reviewer can jump straight to the fix.
- Bluebeam XFDF (optional) — for round-tripping edits into Bluebeam. See Export to Bluebeam.
Steps
- Open the project from Projects.
- Make sure you've answered any clarifying questions — the package is more specific when you have.
- Review each finding. You can edit the draft response inline before downloading.
- Click Download or Export. Pick the format you want.
- Attach the response letter to your resubmission in the city's portal (or through the CrossBeam partner-city flow if that's how you submitted originally).
Before you send it
- Read every response. The AI drafts are sharp, but your design professional of record should sign off on anything that touches structural / MEP / life-safety items.
- Don't skip unanswered questions — if the AI flagged "needs info" and you left it blank, the response letter will have a gap.
